Request data deletion

AppsHook / Content OS · Updated October 7, 2026

If you requested an app link through an AppsHook comment or Direct message, you can ask us to delete the corresponding records held by our automation.

How to request it

  1. Open @appshook on Instagram and send a Direct message from the same Instagram account you used for the request.
  2. Write DELETE MY DATA. If applicable, include the post link and approximate date of the comment or conversation.
  3. We review deletion requests manually, verify the account and identify the relevant local records. We confirm the result through the same conversation.

Do not send passwords, verification codes or identity documents. If you cannot use the original account, explain that to @appshook; additional verification may be necessary before records can be matched or removed.

What the request covers

It covers the request payloads, saved message/reply text and local conversation state in AppsHook's automation that can be matched to your request. Recovery backups and minimal technical delivery identifiers may be retained separately to preserve security and prevent duplicate messages; we explain any such limitation when confirming your request.

What is not deleted by this request

This does not delete your Instagram, Facebook or Threads account, public comments, posts, platform conversations, App Store purchases, or data held by apps featured in AppsHook content. Use the relevant platform or app's own controls to manage those copies.

For a connected account owner who wishes to stop Content OS access, remove its authorization in Meta's connected-app/business integration settings and contact AppsHook about retained local records. Removing authorization stops future access but is not itself a request to erase our existing local records.
